Each year I make a point to have professional photos made of our family. Sure, I take plenty of photos myself but often times I'm not even in them, not to mention I'm no photographer so they aren't exactly frame worthy. We've been using the same photographer since we moved to Texas four years ago and although she recently moved out of state, she agreed to come back to the Dallas area to shoot a few of her loyal families, including ours! I am so happy with how our photos turned out!
I asked our photographer to get a shot of these heirloom pearl earrings that Nonie passed down to Kyndall for her recent 10th birthday. I knew it would mean a lot to her to have a professional photo of Kyndall wearing them.
This next series of photos was requested by the photographer herself because she always compliments me and Matthew on our blue eyes. She wanted some close up shots of our eyes in the natural light.
I love comparison photos so I made these side by sides of our pictures from five years prior. It's amazing how much Kyndall has grown!
In addition to our personal family photos, this year my Mom had a big family photo shoot scheduled while we were home for Thanksgiving. I don't think we've ever had professional photos made of the whole family and I love how these turned out!
