Husband / Daddy of the Year

I have to brag on my husband every now and then, and today happens to be one of those days!  I am truly blessed to share my life with Matthew.  He proved to be a wonderful husband a long time ago, but now he has also proven to be a fantastic Daddy.  (Not that I had any doubts!)  Knowing that I'm the one who is up with the baby at night and takes care of her all day, he is very good about allowing me some time for myself on the weekends.  Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT complaining---I love every minute of it!  However, almost every Saturday he kicks me out of the house and says "go do something for YOU!"  I usually don't do anything elaborate or exciting, but just getting out of the house for an hour or two is always a nice treat.  Today he got up with Kyndall and let me sleep in until around 9:30, when I was pleasantly awakened by the smell of blueberry muffins.  Yep, that's right, he even fixed breakfast!  Per the usual, he told me to go spend the afternoon doing something that I wanted to do.  I decided to make a trip to three of my favorite stores:  Babies 'R Us, Target and Michael's.  This may not sound too thrilling to most of you, but it was just the break that I needed.  I returned home to find that Kyndall had been fed, changed and was in a pleasant, happy mood!  Thanks, Matthew for giving this Mommy some time for myself!
