For almost a year now, I've been saying I would start a blog. Living so far away from friends and family, I thought it would be a good way to share the day to day happenings of our life. For one reason or another I just kept putting it off. Most of all because I just didn't know how I would ever find time to add one more thing to my list of obligations as a wife and new Mommy. But, one of my very best friends, Betsy, has been begging me to do this for a very long time and I decided this week that I would give it a shot. I hope that it will be something I look forward to doing, and most importantly, something that my friends and family will enjoy reading. I love to write and I love to take pictures, and I always love to brag on my sweet baby girl...so this seems like the perfect combination of all three!
Now where to start? Here's a brief re-cap of the last 5 years of my life:
Matthew and I were engaged in 2007
We were married on April 26, 2008
We moved to Summerville, S.C. in July of 2008
In February of 2010 we found out we were expecting a baby!
On September 20th, 2010 (4 weeks early!), we welcomed Kyndall Anne Hughes into the world!
Our precious angel was finally here! The baby we had been praying for was no longer a dream, but a reality...
And so began our new adventure into parenthood...
I think that pretty much sums up the past few years! I hope that you check back often for periodic glimpses into our everyday life! =)
Welcome to the blogosphere!! I'm very excited to add you to my blog list and follow you, getting even more details about the Hughes family than I get from Facebook. You will be so happy to have this as documentation of all thing Kyndall, and I know soooo many people will love reading and seeing your pictures. Let me know if you want/need any blogging tips or hints. Here's one: start tagging your posts now so you won't have to go back later.
ReplyDeleteWell, you finally took the plunge. I think this is something you will treasure. Even though I have seen all these pics, it was kinda fun to see them all at a glance. My, how she has changed. Looking forward to many more blogs to come!!!
