Our Halloween was a lot of fun despite the cold and rain that we had in Jackson that evening. We made the best of it by hitting up a few trunk-or-treats that were moved indoors at local churches, then followed it up with trick-or-treating during a brief reprieve from the rain.
Not surprisingly, Kyndall was a Minion this year despite my begging and pleading for her to be something girly like a princess or a fairy. I even found myself trying to convince her to be a bride. YIKES. She actually looked pretty darn cute and got lots of compliments on her costume!
Dashing into Medina FUMC for trunk-or-treat
We met up with two of Kyndall's boyfriends, Gavin and Camden
Next we headed to West Jackson Baptist for another fun trunk-or-treat INDOORS. Kyndall was united with her biological family. Ha!
Enjoying the show after collecting candy
We didn't think trick-or-treating would be an option since it had been cold and raining all day but the rain stopped briefly so we made a few strategic stops by familiar houses. The first was Mrs. Pam's....
(Nice shoes, Mrs. Woods)
Ran into a few friends....
Technically I am not supposed to be out in the cold and rain for fear of sickness so we didn't stay long. We only visited a few houses then called it a night with a traditional Halloween dinner at Rhodes Diner.
Then it was home for a warm bath followed by indulging in the fruits of her labor
Another exciting thing that happened that day was finding this in the mailbox! Just three more weeks until DISNEY!
No, my name would not fit on my magic band. Story of my life.
This is what I like to call the "Halloween hangover" which we were unlucky enough to experience on Sunday morning before church. It didn't help that the time also changed on Halloween night.
October was a CRAZY month and I am happy to bid it farewell. November is equally as busy but there is MUCH to look forward to!
Love the pictures! Your minion and her friends looked adorable in their costumes!
