Happy Wednesday

It's Wednesday, which means we're halfway through the week and even closer to the long holiday weekend!  We're getting excited about having my family come up tomorrow night to spend the long weekend with us.  We have four fun-filled days planned----from the shooting range to the golf course to downtown Charleston and of course cook outs and fireworks to celebrate the 4th!  It should be a very fun weekend for us all!  I hope that everyone is having a great week and that you have a safe and fun holiday weekend!!!  Until next week, I'll leave you with a few pictures to hopefully make you smile.....

This next one makes me laugh.  I bought Kyndall this baby pool over the weekend and blew it up for her.  It has rained every single day since then!  So she's been enjoying it in the house, without any water.  It actually makes for a great little play area!  =)

Nonie and Poppie's Weekend Visit

This weekend, Matthew's parents drove up to visit us for a few days.  They arrived Friday afternoon and stayed until just after lunch today.  We always enjoy their visits, but they seem to go by really fast.  We started our weekend out by having pizza at our favorite local pizza place on Friday night after Matthew got off work.

Kyndall greeted them in her Georgia onesie, just for Poppie!

"I'll take a large cheese please!"

Kyndall picked up the bill for us Friday night.  What a gal!

After dinner Matthew and his Dad wanted to make a "quick" stop by Lowe's.  I'm sure you know the rest of the story!  So the 3 of us girls just made the best of it!

Nonie and Poppie are considering buying one of these for our upcoming Destin beach vacation, so we had to try it out!

On Saturday we woke up bright and early and headed to the local waterpark.  It was Kyndall's first time, so we weren't sure exactly how she would take to it.  I think the pictures speak for themselves!!!

Passed out in Poppie's arms for a quick power nap

Matthew and his Dad on the speed slide......

After a quick nap and a yummy lunch, my little water baby was ready for more fun!

We had a great time and Kyndall absolutely loved the water!  I have a feeling we'll be spending a lot of time at the waterpark this summer!  That night, Matthew grilled out and we had a nice relaxing dinner at home.  We were all wiped out from our fun-filled day!

This morning we got up early again and made it to the early service at church, and then had breakfast/lunch at Cracker Barrel before saying goodbye to Nonie and Poppie.

Is there anything cuter than a baby girl sporting RL Polo, her pearls and monogrammed shoes?!  I think not!

Someone is getting sleepy, and we haven't even made it to church yet!

We had a great weekend, filled with lots of great memories!  As always, thanks for all of your help, Nonie and Poppie!  Now we're looking forward to having my parents and my sister here this weekend to help us celebrate the 4th of July!  Two weekends in a row of company----we love it!!!!

Happy (Early) 4th of July!!!

I wanted to wait until closer to the 4th to share these pictures, but I just couldn't hold out any longer!  Beware, there are LOTS of pictures in this post.....but I just couldn't pick favorites because I loved something about all of them!  Believe it or not, THIS is the narrowed down set!  Hope you enjoy them......
