Christmas Day!

Every year since we've been married, our Christmas day has been a BUSY one!  So many people to see and places to go.  Since having Kyndall, we've tried to tone it down a bit, and just enjoy the day rather then spending the entire holiday on the road, buzzing from one house to the next.  Hopefully, in years to come, we'll live much closer and we'll have the opportunity to let her wake up in her own house on Christmas morning, followed by visits with the Grandparents.  But, for now, here's how we make it work......

We woke up on Christmas morning at Matthew's parents' house in Thomasville to find that Santa had made his visit and had even eaten his cookies that we left him.  Look at Kyndall's expression as she realized the cookies were gone........

She LOVES Bob and Larry, so this gift from the Odums was perfect!

This was Matthew with his big surprise gift that he had no idea he was getting.  I wish I could've gotten a picture of his face when his Dad walked around the corner with it!  Truly, he was like a kid on Christmas morning!!

FINALLY, I opened up my long-awaited gift from Matthew---My new CAMERA!!!

 I saw this shirt and just had to get it for Matthew---He loves Troy and the other Swamp People!

After presents and breakfast, we packed up and headed to Two Egg, where we would spend the second half of the day at my Grandparents' house.  I've spent every Christmas day at their house for as long as I can remember, and I hope to continue it for many years to come.  Everyone looks forward to eating Grandma's traditional Christmas day lunch, and then playing a "Dirty Santa" gift swap.

As you can see, it was a fun day, full of good food and lots of family time---two of my favorite things!
