Friends!

During our three weeks in Tallahassee/Thomasville, we made sure to meet up and spend time with as many of our friends as we possibly could.  Although there were a few that we just couldn't coordinate with, we enjoyed spending time with the ones who we did see.

The day after Christmas, we went over to Blake and Felicia's house in Thomasville so that our kids could exchange gifts, and the adults could catch up.  They made us a yummy pancake breakfast and then the babies all played together for several hours.  Matthew and I are Abbie and Josiah's God parents, so we try to spend as much time with them as possible.  I wish we could see them more often, especially since they're about to be THREE years old!!  I can't believe it!  It seems like just yesterday we were visiting Felicia in the hospital while she was on bed rest with the twins.

We put Abbie's Rapunzel wig on Kyndall.....

For the past three years, we've made it an annual post-Christmas tradition to meet up with our friend Travis.  Travis and Matthew met in college at Valdosta State.  Although his family still lives in Georgia, Travis moved out to California, where he works for Wrigley's.  (He's the one who hooks us up with all of the gum!)  We met up with Travis and his parents in Valdosta for dinner the day after Christmas.  It was so good to see him and catch up.  I wish we could see him more than just once a year, but hopefully we'll be making a trip out to Cali to visit him soon!!

Ready for dinner in Valdosta with "Uncle" Travis

Last year:

A few days after Christmas, Kyndall and I had a play-date with Beatrice and her Mommy Mary Beth.  Beatrice (Bea) is my sister's boyfriend's niece.  (Got that??)  Beatrice and Kyndall are just a couple of months apart in age, but unfortunately they live in the UK, and don't come to the USA all that often.  Kyndall and Bea had a great time playing together at Michael's parents' house, and I really enjoyed getting to know Michael's sister, Mary Beth.  It's too bad they live all the way across the pond, because these girls seemed to have a lot of fun together!

Kyndall was so fascinated with the goldfish tank

I love this picture!  Bea has just snatched Kyndall's bow out of her hair....

Finally, on New Year's Eve, we met up with Lindsey, Payton and Mrs. Judy for breakfast at Another Broken Egg.  We had a nice Mother-Daughter breakfast and it was great to see all three of them!

We love seeing our friends when we come home!!!
