On Friday, Matthew's Mom came to Tallahassee and we had lunch and then took Kyndall to the Tallahassee Museum. (Formerly known to those of use who grew up in TLH as the "Junior Museum") I spent a lot of time there as a kid and I always loved it, so was excited to take Kyndall for her first visit. Just as I imagined, she had a great time!
This is what she was smiling at........
The buzzard was her favorite........go figure!
Can you find the bobcats?
Kyndall did!!!
So pretty!
I promise she really was having fun, despite the look on her face!
We couldn't leave without making a stop by the playground........
We spent most of Saturday in Marianna. My Mom's best friend from high school's daughter was getting married that night, so we decided to make a day of it and spend the afternoon visiting my Grandparents in Two Egg. We had a nice visit before heading to the wedding. Janna and Charlie had a beautiful wedding and I enjoyed using the opportunity to try out my new camera. Someone actually came up to me at the wedding and asked if I was a photographer. He told me I looked "very passionate" about what I was doing. I took it as a compliment! =) Here are a few of the many pictures I took........
My sweet girl was such a trooper!

On Sunday morning, Matthew's parents took us halfway to SC to our usual meeting spot in Brunswick GA, where Matthew picked us up. I always look forward to the trade off because it means I get to eat lunch at one of my favorite places, which we are deprived of in Charleston.
What can I say, I'm a simple girl with simple pleasures!
Since Matthew's birthday was just three days later, his parents went ahead and gave him his birthday gifts.....
It was a quick trip, but we had a lot of fun! Besides, it's only a matter of time before I'll be back again! =)
What a fun trip! Sometimes the short ones are just as fun as the long trips! If Ava saw the pictures she would be saying, "My pink, my pink!" about the dinosaur.
ReplyDeleteThe Princess's hair is really coming in nicely! Such a cutie!
