4th of July Bike Parade

This morning our Moms group met up at a local nursing home to put on a "bike parade" for the residents.  Each child brought their own bike and we decorated them with streamers, ribbons and flags.  Although it was a little warm out, we still had a great time and I think the residents really enjoyed interacting with the little ones.

Kyndall decided that Ben's bike was more fun than her own........

To keep us from melting into puddles, Maggie brought popsicles and ice cream, which we shared with the residents

It was a lot of fun and really got me excited about our upcoming 4th of July festivities!  I just love this time of year!  (minus the awful heat, of course!) 

I hope that everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July, and that you take time to remember what the day really represents!  We are so blessed to live in America, and we should never take that for granted.  God bless the USA!
