Christmas Day!

We woke up bright and early at Matthew's parents house on Christmas morning, ready to open gifts and enjoy breakfast together before joining my family at my Grandparents' house later that day.

Kyndall was SO excited!  Such a change from the past two years when she really didn't have a clue as to what was going on.  She got really into it this year!

She helped herself to Santa's leftovers......

Still holding on to MY Ellen cow from the night before!

Nonie and Poppie surprised us with these hand made clay ornaments that Kyndall made herself!  These types of gifts are my favorite!

New camera charm for my bracelet!

I love this pillowcase dress!

Just like everyone else, Poppie got a personalized t-shirt as well.  Trucking and Kyndall---Two of Poppie's favorite things!

My gifts from Matthew---Monogrammed luggage!

For Kyndall, obviously =)

Kyndall's gifts from me and Matthew........

Nonie finally joined the rest of the world and got a Smart Phone!

One of Matthew's gifts from me---More personalization!  =)  I think I need an intervention!

Dressed and ready to spend the second half of the day in Two Egg with my family!

My Grandma cooked up a yummy Christmas lunch, as always!

So, we had this bright idea to get an updated family picture.  You'd think this would be no big deal considering we are all adults with the exception of three kids.  I promise, this picture was NOT staged......this is what I was dealing with as I tried to get everyone set up for the shot!  I think my favorite is Brian, who seems to be the only one who was camera ready..........

This was the best that I got, which isn't saying much!  What is Granddaddy looking at??

Before opening gifts, Granddaddy read the Christmas story from the Bible

Everyone listened intently

Then it was time for gifts..............

Granddaddy got a personalized fishing cap from yours truly!  =)

Mom went over the "rules" for our annual game of Dirty Santa

Carrie was first, and I'm sad to say that in the end, THIS is the gift that I ended up with!  Matthew was happy, but I was less than thrilled!

Kyndall helped me choose a gift.  It ended up being one that I REALLY liked.  But it was quickly stolen.  =(  Which in turn left me as the proud new owner of the camo hunting chair.  Joy.

Dad was a good sport and was very proud of his new serving dish!  =)

These two were scheming the whole time and ended up getting exactly the gifts that they wanted!

Once all the gifts were opened and things settled down, Kyndall fell asleep in my lap watching a DVD.  It had been a long day for her with NO nap!

Holding onto her "moobie" (movie) while she sleeps

She slept like that for a good two hours and then popped up ready to go again!

Our Christmas was busy but BLESSED!
