Fall Fun!

Fall has always been my favorite season and I wait anxiously for it all year long!  The cooler temperatures and the anticipation of the upcoming holidays make me a very happy girl.  We kicked off this fall with some fun outings over the past week or so.

Matthew's favorite thing about fall is football, of course.  Last Saturday was the big FSU vs Clemson game so we got all decked out in our garnet and gold for the occasion.

Last Saturday morning, we met up with Glory and Caroline at Donnell Farms, which was a new adventure for us!

We packed a picnic but they wouldn't let us take it in.  Boo.  So, we improvised and enjoyed our picnic in the parking lot in the back of Glory's van.

Mrs. Glory is the fun Mommy who does all the crazy stuff with the kiddos.  I just take the pictures.

Corn "sand" box

Love love love me some Glory!!!!!

Again, Glory is the fun Mommy who agreed to take the girls on the pumpkin pillow.......

And in typical Kyndall fashion, she hated it......

But, Glory and Caroline had a big time!

My little animal lover

Walking through the pumpkin patch.....

We did the kiddie version of the corn maze, which surprisingly was still a little tricky to navigate!

No trip to the farm is complete without a good old fashioned pig race!

Welcome to West Tennessee, where we chase pigs for entertainment......

There are two things in life I cannot resist.....Coke Icees and kettle corn.  They were making fresh, hot kettle corn by the truck load right there before my starving little eyes and I couldn't resist eating a bag......or three.  My GI doctor would probably have a fit, but it was worth the risk and obviously, I survived!

Kyndall wanted to pick out a "baby pump-tin", so we let her choose the perfect one

She must have picked up 10 or 12, carefully inspecting each one for dirt.  Yes, dirt, on pumpkins which ultimately grew in dirt.  She felt that the perfect pumpkin should be a CLEAN one.  Ok, she's my child and I take full blame for her OCD-ness.

Once she realized that there was no such thing as a dirt-free pumpkin, she insisted that Daddy "queen" (clean) it with a baby wipe.  Lord have mercy.

And then, she was happy.

Later that night she asked if she could decorate her pumpkin.  I figured, why not??

So serious......

The completed masterpiece----Beautiful, right??

Another one of my favorite things about the fall is the new wardrobe that I get to pull out for the little princess.  She has way more clothes than she will ever need and I'm kind of ashamed to admit that.  But, how can you resist adorable outfits like these??

By the way, I did NOT tell her to pose like this.  This is ALL KYNDALL!

Another day, another Halloween outfit

I also have quite an obsession with pajamas.  Not all pajamas, just cute little girls' pajamas.  It's kind of like my obsession with little girls swimsuits, but a little more practical since PJs are worn on a daily basis and swimsuits are not.  Anyway, it's finally cold enough here in TN to break out the fuzzy footed PJs!!!  Woo hoo!

Along with this time of year also comes an over abundance of sugar, in the form of Halloween candy.  Exhibit A......

Exhibit B.......(Thanks, Caroline for teaching Kyndall this cheezy pose)

OUT. OF. CONTROL.

Each and every Saturday morning Matthew takes Kyndall to breakfast.  We've missed this for the past few weeks, as life has been pretty hectic and we've been either out of town or just out of energy and therefore it hasn't happened lately.  Yesterday, they got back to their Saturday morning routine and Kyndall was SO excited about it!  They even wore their matching camo.  How precious....(sarcasm)

Finally, last night was our church's annual Trunk-or-Treat which we've been looking forward to for several weeks.  Kyndall told me months ago that she wanted to be a "super hewo" (super hero) for Halloween this year.  I figured she would forget, or that I could easily talk her into something else.  Not a chance.  As much as I begged her to be a princess, a ballerina or even a bride (Daddy didn't love that one), she insisted on being a super hero.  At least I was able to find a pink one.

I must admit, she did look pretty cute and still quite girly!  =)

Again, these poses were all Kyndall!

I think this pose is my favorite.  Doesn't she look fierce??

We headed over to the Raley's to meet up with Glory, Jereme and Caroline and this is what we found......

But wait, there's more!

Yep, that's my BFF and her crazy family!  Love them!

Our trunk

Kyndall was content helping me pass out candy for a while, until she caught onto the whole idea and decided she was missing out.  So, our friend Anna took over our car while we made the rounds with Kyndall...........

There were bounce houses, food, and animals to torture pet.......

I'm pretty sure she was checking out his "parts" here......

Anna, Kyndall and Mac

Next we visited the ponies where we found Caroline, sans her red Ariel wig.......

I just knew this was going to be a disaster.  I could totally see her letting go of this horse and falling to her death by being trampled by a pony.  I was pretty nervous but she did really well!

Mac

Super hero love......Super Girl and Robin!

Then, all that candy took effect and all heck broke loose.  It's a good thing we were in a wide open space where "super girl" could get here "flying" out!  She was flying alright, in the form of a sugar high!

Thanks (again), Caroline for this awful new pose!

Non-stop energy!

When it was over, we headed to Steak-N-Shake and even Ursula the sea witch showed up, complete with her tentacles but unfortunately missing her purple face and crazy white wig.  I really wish she'd have shown up in the whole costume......

It's been a fun week and now we're looking forward to the best night of all, Halloween!  If any of our Jackson friends want to join us, we'll be hitting up our neighborhood around dark!  Come trick-or-treat with us!!!
