Minion Madness

If you've been around Kyndall for more than five minutes then you know that she's "assessed" (obsessed) with anything and everything MINION.  I personally don't understand the infatuation and would much prefer her to go back to being "assessed" with Elsa or the My Little Ponies.  The minions are just so......weird.  Anyway, when I heard our local skating rink was having a minion day this past Saturday, I knew we HAD to take her.  Skating and minions are her two favorite things right now.

We decided not to tell her where we were going.  She knew that on Saturday we had a surprise for her but we didn't give her any hints, only that she would love it.  We normally skate at a different rink so even after we pulled into the parking lot she still had no idea where we were.  I decided to video her reaction.....

For the next four hours she and Matthew skated and skated and skated some more.  There were minion decorations, minion door prizes and even a real minion that you could have your picture taken with.  To her, it was Heaven on Earth.

We are now officially planning a minion themed 5th birthday party at the local skating rink.  She asks me every. single. day. if this is her birthday week.  September can't get here fast enough!
