Disney Day 3

Sunday morning came bright and early and just like the morning prior, we were ready to catch the bus at 7:00 a.m. sharp!

Waiting for the bus to take us from our resort to the Magic Kingdom

Either she was so tired that she didn't move all night long or that was some super awesome hairspray they used because this hair looked just as good the next morning as it did when she walked out of the boutique!

Ready for day 2!

Sunday morning we had special breakfast reservations so we only had a little bit of time to ride before time to make our way to the castle to eat.  We rode Peter Pan, which is one of my favorites!

More time to kill before breakfast so back to Small World for the second or third time...I lost count!

This is my "stay awake....stay awake....stay awake" face

Totally intrigued by all of the dancing dolls

At 10:00 the boys left the Magic Kingdom and went to the Wilderness Lodge for a breakfast buffet at the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  The girls had a fancy breakfast date at Cinderella's Royal Table inside of the castle!!

The girls, plus Wyatt
Those glass windows just above the green garland on the castle is where we would soon be dining with the Princesses!

It's really tough getting reservations to this particular Character meal so again I have to give credit and thanks to our amazing trip planner, Alison!

This picture cracks me up!  Is she losing her mind with excitement at the very sight of Cinderella??

Waiting to be called upstairs to our table

Breakfast time!

They gave Kyndall a wand and a wishing star and they gave Wyatt a sword

This picture makes me laugh too---Forget the princesses, this girl wanted to EAT!

Each princess made her way around to our table where they chatted with Kyndall, signed her autograph book and let me take a picture.  This was SO much better than standing in long lines for the rest of the day trying to meet all of them.  Totally worth the money to do it this way!

Kyndall loves to give hugs and I'm pretty sure she hugged every single character or princess that we met during our time in the Magic Kingdom!

Aurora is MY favorite princess!!  I love her pink dress and her long blonde hair.

Mickey shaped waffles!

Our view from breakfast

There's always gotta be one like this.

Before we even got into the park I declared that the one ride I would NOT ride was the teacups.  Me and spinning do not mix well.

You see how that worked out....

Waiting in line for Winnie the Pooh.  Disney thinks of everything, including entertainment for the little ones as you wait in long lines!

Lots of people said we had to do Enchanted Tales with Belle....so we did.
It's an interactive play in which each child is assigned a role and they act out the story of Beauty and the Beast.
They also randomly choose two men from amongst the parents to play the parts of the royal guards.  Guess who got chosen??  HA!

On the People Mover in Tomorrow Land.
Hey Wyatt!

We met Tink...

More hugs.....

My Dad bought her this light up Thinker Bell toy that she begged for

I don't even know....we were tired.

For my birthday, my sister gave me a Disney gift card so Kyndall and I went shopping and used it to buy matching Princess ornaments.  She got her favorite princess, Elsa and I got mine, Aurora.

Sunday night was special because it was one of the nights that Magic Kingdom throws "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party".  We paid a little extra for our tickets in order to stay for the party.

My family is special.

Riding Buzz Lighyear....

Love these pictures of us riding the Mine Train!  So funny!

Kelly and Matthew rode Space Mountain, but they were the only ones!  No, thanks!

The castle was so beautiful!

We decided to ride the Astro Orbiter at night so that we could see all the lights of Disney

One of the perks of staying late for Mickey's Christmas Party is free unlimited cookies and hot chocolate!

Waiting in line to ride Thunder Mountain for the second time.  Technically I'm not supposed to ride roller coasters but there was no way I was missing out!  I'm also not supposed to eat off a buffet or be in close proximity to sick people. I did all of these things and lived to tell about it!

Waiting for the fireworks

Christmas parade

We ended the night with one last ride on the Mine Train and then caught the carousel on our way out.  As we were walking down Main Street towards the exit and talking about our day, snow began to fall from the sky.  It was the perfect ending to a most magical weekend!

In two days we rode every ride, saw every parade and met every princess that we had hoped to meet.  I still can't believe we crammed in as much as we did.  I'm sure my family thinks I'm ruthless the way I bossed them around and kept them moving for two days straight, but I honestly don't think we could have done it all if we didn't stick to the plan that I had laid out for us.  I don't know how anyone can do the Magic Kingdom in just one day.

Monday morning we checked out of our rooms and then had brunch in our hotel

You're looking at two worn out kiddos!

And a very worn out G-Daddy!

Two sleeps and the hair still stands!

We had SO many food credits left over that I told Kyndall just to choose whatever she wanted in the hotel restaurant.  Naturally, she chose this giant Mickey cupcake.

And these sprinkle covered marshmallows.  Hey, it's Disney--so what if she had a cupcake and marshmallows for lunch?

One last picture in the hotel lobby

Once again, Disney thinks of everything.  Since we were staying at the Art of Animation resort, it was only appropriate that they would have easels set up for the kids to draw on while they waited for their parents to load the car.  Genius!

Before we made it to Ocala she was out cold

Tuesday morning Kyndall and I had breakfast at my parents' house and then headed back to Tennessee (Matthew had flown out early Monday morning in order to get back to work)  After THREE nights, her hair still looked perfect!

Just the two of us on the long ride back from Tallahassee to Jackson

When we got home we were surprised to find that Candy Cane had returned from the North Pole with a special note for Kyndall....

We hung our new ornaments in a special place on the tree

Hopefully we can eventually collect all of the princesses

Wednesday morning--Four days and four nights and the hair still looked pretty good!

If it hadn't been for her school Christmas play the next day I would've just let her keep wearing it.  I wonder how long it would've lasted??

This trip was one that we will never ever forget for so many reasons.  Everything about it was all that we had hoped for and more.  We have talked about making it an annual Christmas tradition and I really hope we can do that.  There will never be another time like the first, but I think going each year during the Christmas season would be a fun tradition for our little family.

Whoever "Grace" belonged to before me definitely treated her well because she did not let me down on this trip!  I surprised myself in being able to keep the pace that I did, especially considering how very little sleep I got.  I am so thankful that there was nothing to hold me back from enjoying every single moment of this trip.

With that being said, I spent the next few days back at home recovering.  I ended up coming down with a nasty cold, which I'm sure was a result of the bazillions of germs I was exposed to during those three days.  It has taken me quite a while to kick it and in fact I am still fighting it but that's just par for the course when you have no immune system.  Totally worth it, though!!!

Kyndall is still beaming when she talks about her adventures at the Magic Kingdom.  She still asks to look at the pictures all the time and we still reminisce about the memories we made.  She often says when referring to activities we've recently done......"This was lots of fun, Mommy, but nothing will ever be as fun as Disney!  That was the best day ever!"

Our first Disney trip is now in the books and so is my first big adventure with Grace!

This is living and I'm so thankful to be doing just that!
