Oysters, Golfing and Skype = Good Weekend!

We had a nice weekend, with lots of great family time.  Friday night, Matthew and I went to a company function while Kyndall hung out with Kinsley and Kadyn.  We enjoyed a few hours of kid-free time at the Charleston Motor Carriers Association Spring Oyster Roast.  I enjoyed meeting and mingling with some of Matthew's customers and colleagues, as well as some of their brokers.  There was booze, music, dancing and all of the roasted oysters you could possibly eat.  None of which we participated in!  Ha!  We don't drink, we don't eat oysters and we rarely dance.  BUT....I still had a really good time and I enjoyed watching Matthew in his element.  One thing I really loved was the free photo booth they had set up.  We weren't very creative on our first attempt, so we went back before leaving and tried to have a little more fun with it!  See.............

Saturday was nothing but rain, rain and more rain!!  We literally didn't leave the house all day long, other than Matthew grabbing us some take-out for dinner.  I spent most of the day tackling the job of switching out Kyndall's clothes.  It took me at least 4 hours, but I finally got it done and now all of her spring and summer clothes are neatly organized in her closet and the winter wardrobe is neatly packed away for future baby #2.  Whew!  What a job!  I think we need an intervention.  I have never seen so many clothes in my life!!!  It's unbelievable.

This afternoon Matthew decided to go hit some golf balls at the driving range and suggested that Kyndall and I tag along.  It was a gorgeous (but cold) day, so we agreed.  It was tooooooo windy to sit outside, so Kyndall and I hung out in the back of my truck and cheered him on.

She took a break from cheering to have a little snack............

And to do some very important computer work............

And eventually got back to cheering..............

When we got home, we Skyped with all of the Grandparents..........

I bought Kyndall these sunglasses today at Target with the intention of putting them in her Easter goodie basket in a few weeks.  I guess I need to be a little more subtle with my hiding places, because she found the bag and there was no taking them back!  Oh well..........

I hope that everyone has a great week ahead!  It's a busy one for us, but I'm looking forward to it!
