St. Patrick's Day Fun

Today our Mom's group had a St. Patrick's Day party at the park.  It was a GORGEOUS day, perfect for spending outdoors.  We were each asked to bring a green snack for the kids, so I brought Jello cups.......

How did I get her to cooperate for pictures, you ask?  I told her we were going to "SWING" at the park!

She couldn't seem to get over her new jelly shoes.  It's the first time she's worn them and she just kept looking at them and smiling.  I think she was proud of them.

We made cute crafts, ate lots of yummy green snacks and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine!

When I got home, I found that a sneaky little leprechaun lady had left goodies on my front porch as part of our group's "You Got Lucky" secret friend game.  Whoever it is obviously knows me well because the bag was full of my favorite things.  Can't wait to find out who it was!

  2. OMG...that is THE cutest grand-baby EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! She is looking sooooo grown up.....seeing her standing against the wall almost makes me sad. I want her to walk/stand but she looks so 'old' standing there. I think she is going to have curls in her hair like you had!!! Love this post.
