I haven't had anything worthy of blogging about since we returned from our beach vacation a few weeks ago, so I made an effort to get a few pictures this weekend. Truth is, our life is pretty BORING so other than our ordinary, everyday happenings there isn't much to share! But I know the Grandparents enjoy seeing the pictures and after all, it IS Grandparents' Day!
Friday night we went to dinner at Outback and then did some shopping to finish up last minute birthday party details
(Warning---crappy cell phone pictures ahead)
Kyndall found this random Minnie Mouse hamper and just HAD to have it! Look how happy it made her! =)
We took this picture for Uncle Michael!!!
Running WILD in Old Navy.........
Where's Kyndall??
Oh, there she is!! (We must have played this game a million times!) It was fun until someone actually wanted to USE the dressing room, then it was a little hard for her to understand why she couldn't open the curtain anymore.
We stopped by the Halloween store just for fun. I was anxious to see how she would react to all of the scary stuff. She wasn't scared until Matthew put on a freaky looking wolf mask and then she was ready to GO!
She made a bee line to the Minnie Mouse costumes, of course
I told Matthew I wanted him to wear this for Halloween. He agreed, as long as he could pick MY costume. He came back with some skanky flight attendant get up. Yeah, right!!
On Saturday morning, Matthew and Kyndall did their usual Daddy-daughter breakfast and even made a trip to Publix for me. Kyndall came proudly walking in the door and handed me these. Matthew says she picked them out herself. How sweet!
Pretty! (Can you find Huckabee??)
While they were out having breakfast and grocery shopping, I took advantage of the alone time and decided to do some organizing and get rid of a few things. Among the items I took to Goodwill was this. *tear* =(
But, it was time. It's been sitting in my bedroom for almost TWO YEARS now! I just don't have any space to keep it and since we won't have a newborn anytime soon, I decided to part with it. I just can't believe in a few days it will have been two whole years since my teeny tiny 6.5 pound baby girl first slept in it.
Last night we decided to take it easy and just hang out at home. It started raining, so Kyndall and I did some arts and crafts to pass the time. We painted, played stickers and made play-doh creations.
Matthew used his smoker to cook us a yummy pork tenderloin for dinner. I have one rule when it comes to the weekends and it's that I do NOT cook on Fridays and Saturdays! So, Matthew made our entire dinner and it was great!
Kyndall hasn't wanted to play this piano in MONTHS, but for some reason she decided she wanted to play us a tune last night. She pulled her chair up and went to town......
Dancing to her own music
This morning we went to church and then to lunch at our usual place. When we got home I had this perfect little Grandparents' Day photo shoot all planned out in my head. It was going to be adorable! I should know by now that with a toddler, even your best laid plans don't always go the way you had hoped. Today was a perfect example of that.
This is my best shot out of about 30, and that's not saying much!!! Terrible!
And it just went down hill (fast) from there! I had to include these, just for pure entertainment value. What a disaster!
She would NOT look at me! Little stinker.
????????????
I've given up at this point!
Eating Jelly Beans! Yes, we tried EVERYTHING!!
Oh well! Happy Grandparents' Day to Nonie, Poppie, Grammy and G-Daddy! And also to Grandma, Granddaddy and Meme! Kyndall is so blessed to still have 3 of her 4 Great-Grandparents in her life! Thanks to each of you for all that you do for Kyndall and for our family! She loves each of you very much!!!

Oh my goodness, that was the sweetest grandparents wish ever. Hugs and kisses from Nonie and Poppie.

This is so cute! I always like seeing what it takes to get a GOOD picture. We have the same issue lately... Toddlers and their attention span! :)
