Kyndall's 2nd Birthday Party

I'm not sure how it's possible, but last week my baby turned TWO!!  We traveled to Tallahassee to celebrate her big day with a Minnie Mouse themed birthday bash a few days before her "real" birthday.  She is so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family who came and showed their love for our girl!

My sweet friend Lindsey Davis made this adorable banner for the party!!

Since the party was during dinner time, we served pizza, snacks and of course cupcakes!

Ever since we decided on the theme for the party, I've been envisioning the decorations in my head.  I was pretty happy that they turned out the way I had hoped!

Torture!

Hate the shadow in this shot, but love those three Bootens!

"Get me some dinner, Mommy!"

Somehow Elijah made it into a lot of pictures!  How can you NOT love that sweet face??

This picture makes me laugh!  No, they weren't mad at each other, but this picture sure does make you think otherwise! =)

I'm holding onto this one and showing it to them in about 16 years!!  =)

Opening gifts is always a little stressful for me.  I want to make sure everyone knows how appreciative we are, yet it's hard to force a 2 year old to sit still and keep their attention focused on the task at hand.  However, I must say that Kyndall did a GREAT job this year!  She sat right next to me and looked at every card and every gift and even said "tank ew" (thank you) to every person!

Kyndall LOVED these sparkly pink shoes from cousin Carrie and family!  She wanted to put them on RIGHT THEN........so we did!

New shopping cart from the Calloways to go with her new kitchen set!

When we got home that night, I realized that we never sang "Happy Birthday" to the birthday girl during the party!  Not only that, but she didn't even get one of her OWN cupcakes!!  So, we made up for it and she enjoyed a nice big cupcake and a cold glass of milk right before bedtime!

Blowing out the candle all by herself!

She forgave me!  =)

Overall I'd say the birthday party was a great success and although Kyndall will likely not remember the day, it was important to me that she was celebrated for the blessing that she is!  Thanks to all of our friends and family who came and showed your love for her!  She is so loved by so many!
