Yesterday we were invited to McKinley's 4th birthday party at Middleton Stables. McKinley is one of Kyndall's best friends from our Mothers & More group and we are going to miss her SO much when we move in a few weeks!
The party was adorable and Jaim'e went all out with the decorations and little details. Not to mention, there were HORSES! Kyndall has never been up close and personal with a horse, much less had the opportunity to ride one. She had more fun than I can even describe in words! My little animal lover had no fear and wanted to "wide" (ride) over and over again.
The birthday girl!!
Kyndall and McKinley checking out the horses
Kyndall was SO SO SO excited for her turn to ride! She waited very patiently and I was quite proud of her!
Still watching and waiting in awe........
First time on a horse and she was a natural!
I'm crazy over these next three shots!!.......
Favorite picture from the day!!!
Ellie was there too, along with lots of our other Mothers & More friends!
After waiting patiently again, she took a turn on the horse with the pink saddle (or, the "girl horse" as all the kids were calling it!)
The Deese brothers---sooo cute!!
A few attempts at a group picture. Gathering this many kids is about like herding cats. (Also, did we miss the memo on wearing red?!)
Jaim'e is so creative and I loved all of the little details!
We enjoyed BBQ sandwiches for lunch and the kids had hot dogs. Kyndall loved the little drinks that were shaped like barrels (again, so creative!) and especially the mustache straws! She kept calling it a "stach".
Singing Happy Birthday.........
Even the cupcakes had little horses on top of them.........
Before we left, we spent some time watching the horses as they ate their lunch. Kyndall was fascinated!
We had a great time!! Thanks for inviting us, Jaim'e!! I have a feeling if Kyndall could talk, she'd most definitely be asking Santa for a pony this year!!! Maybe she'll take up riding in a few years---who knows!
We came home and put our little equestrian down for a nap and I quickly ran out to do some Christmas shopping. Later on, I called Matthew to tell him I was on my way home and to be ready so we could go out and eat dinner. Keeping with the theme of the day, he picked this outfit........
He did it all---even the silver shoes! (I did the hair, but he already knew he wanted her to wear a white bow!) He was very proud.
I have no idea what she's doing here, but it's cute I guess
Matthew is trying his best to make my prissy little Princess into his future hunting buddy. He's even taught her a "trick". He says "Kyndall, what do you say when you see a deer?" She holds up her hands like a gun and says "bang! bang!". He thinks it's the greatest thing ever and shows this "trick" to anyone who will listen. Today on our way home from church we passed a house in our neighborhood that had those white Christmas deer standing on the front lawn as part of their decorations. Kyndall saw them all on her own and started shouting from the back seat "BANG! BANG! BANG!" Oh geez, what has he done??
hahahahahaha... oh my goodness I laughed so hard about the deer!!
ReplyDeleteSometime you will have to ask Mr. Ray Eubanks about the deer story!

This was the cutest ever! The "deer trick" is hysterical and the pony ride pictures are the best!
