Friday was spent decorating the reception hall, which took the ENTIRE day! My sister, my Mom and Michael's parents arrived around 9:00 that morning and I came shortly after, around 10:30. I was given the very important job of delivering the wedding dress to the lodge where the wedding was to be held! I felt special! =)
There was plenty to do to prepare the reception hall, including ironing over 60 chair covers one...... by...... one......yikes! Kelly took on this job, while the rest of us worked on setting up tables, arranging center pieces, organizing favors, etc. There was a lot to get done, and Kelly and my Mom took it on like champs! Every little detail at the wedding was a product of their hard work and creativity!
That evening was the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner and I had one VERY excited little flower girl on my hands! I explained to her that this was the practice for the wedding and I think she really did understand what was going on!

Kyndall and Daddy playing a game of checkers while waiting for the rehearsal to start.......
Even though it wasn't completely finished, I took a few pictures of the reception hall since I knew the next day would be pretty hectic
Michael and Kelly honored their parents by displaying pictures from their own wedding days at the reception.

Not sure what happened to the lighting with my camera here, but this is the only picture I made it into all night, so I have to post it!
Michael's niece Beatrice who is also two years old, was the other flower girl in the wedding. Michael's sister, brother-in-law and niece live in England, so we don't get to see them very often. But when we do, Bea and Kyndall always have a ball together! I can't get enough of Bea's adorable little British accent!!!
Practice makes perfect!
I think she'd had enough pictures by this point.....?! Just a guess......
Michael's parents hosted a beautiful rehearsal dinner at my favorite "fancy" Tallahassee restaurant, Marie Livingston's. I had promised Kyndall a special prize if she cooperated during the rehearsal and since she did so well, I followed through on my promise. Here she is keeping herself occupied during dinner with her new prize. I am so NOT above bribery! =)
Kelly and Michael passed out gifts while we waited for our dinner......
Kyndall got her very first Barbie Doll, which was appropriately the "Bride Barbie"
We have been calling her "Aunt Kelly" =)
I love this picture of "Ankle Michael" and Kyndall! She adores him!!!!
Kelly gave me my jewelry for the wedding day, along with this monogrammed tote bag as my gifts! LOVE them both!!!
Next up, THE WEDDING!!!!!!!
love this one.....even though I did some of the decorating, it is fun to see how it looks in pics!! Love the one with Kyndall's 'that's enough pictures' face!!

LOVE Kyndall's outfit! I bribe Isabel often. It works. I call it a rewards system instead of a bribe. :)
