Last Day of Pre-School

This past Thursday (5/16/13) was Kyndall's last day of pre-school for the year.  They follow the public school calendar and therefore they take a break for the summer.  There is a short summer session that's more casual,  and originally I had her signed up for that.  But when I found out about my surgery and the general craziness that will be our summer, I pulled her out.  So, until August I'll just have to hope we can keep her well entertained and busy!  We've both grown to LOVE the Tuesday/Thursday routine and I know she and I will both miss it.

The main purpose for this post is to do a comparison from her first day to her last.  However, she didn't even start until February, so I really don't see that many changes in the way she looks........

First Day

And......her last day.........

(We were running late that morning so these pictures were taken AFTER school, hence the messy hair!)

Her teachers made this PRECIOUS photo collage as a gift for each of the kids!  I love it!!

They also gave them a treat bag full of all kinds of fun goodies........

And a very sweet note!

Class photo with Mrs. Glory, Mrs. Michelle and Miss Brittany

And of course they included a picture of Kyndall with her main squeeze, Cruz!!  (Or as Kyndall so affectionately calls him....."Cruzie"!!)  I could not stop smiling when I saw this picture!!!

Following our usual routine, she came home on her last day and had a "nack" before laying down for her nap (Yep, she never did master the whole napping on a mat at school thing!)

I snapped this picture on my phone while we were driving home on her last day.  I asked her what she was going to miss about school and she said "pops!"  Every Thursday as the kids were leaving for the weekend, the director stood at the door and handed out "pops" as the children recited their Bible verse for the week.  Kyndall never did quite memorize hers, but she got very good at repeating it on command.  So, here she is enjoying her very last "pop" of the school year!

Welcome, summer!!!

  3. Absolutely precious! Kyndall Anne is such a delightful child and I, too, loved the pix of KA and Cruzie. My favorite pix of KA is when she is having her "nack"... I could see a slight difference in the way she looked when she started pre-school and when she finished: Some of the babyish look is gone from her face. She is growning up way too fast...and, that's the way it goes. Luv, Jodi G
