Catching Up....

....And catching my breath!!  Whew!  What a busy (but fun!) week in Tallahassee!  Kyndall and I stayed on the go all week long!  Neither of us are used to keeping up that kind of pace, so although we are sad our time in Tallahassee is over, I'm looking forward to catching up on my rest and getting back into our daily routine.  (But not for long, since in two weeks we'll be packing up again to head home for Easter!)

I don't even know where to start!  We had lunch and dinner "dates" with various friends and family every single day, and in between I managed to squeeze in Aunt Kelly's softball game, a few trips to the mall, a visit to Aunt Kelly at work, traveling to Marianna for my Great Aunt's funeral visitation, hosting a baby shower, attending a birthday party, planning a high school class reunion, and sitting as an examiner at TCC for the dental hygiene students' mock board exam!  I'm tired just trying to remember it all!

Here are some pictures I took during our time in Tallahassee....

Aunt Kelly and Uncle Kenny just could NOT wait until Easter to give Kyndall all of her goodies!

They love to spoil her!

Playing with Grammy...

G-Daddy's comfy leather recliner is K's new favorite spot to hang out!

My Mom let Kyndall play with this purple telephone rattle, which used to be mine!

Kyndall had a big milestone while we were gone---She ate her very first veggies!

First bite of organic baby squash....

Loved it!!!!

4/6/11---Going to lunch with Grammy and cousin Christina

I think she's saying "hey girl!" in this one!

4/7/11---Taking lunch to Aunt Kelly at work

4/8/11---Going to lunch with Lindsey D. at Red Elephant...

4/9/11--Being a sweet girl at Betsy's baby shower that I helped host!

Betsy at her diaper shower

She should be set with diapers for a while!!

4/9/11---After the shower, we headed to Chick-Fil-A for Miss Payton's 2nd birthday party...

4/10/11---Matthew's parents took me halfway back home today and we met up with Matthew at Steak 'N Shake in Brunswick

After not seeing her Daddy for 11 days, all she wanted to do was stare at him!  It was sweet!

Daddy offered to give K her bath tonight when we finally made it home

Happy to be holding his little Princess once again!

It was so good to be home for the past week and a half!  Every time I come home, it just make me miss it even more and realize how desperately I want to move back.  My prayer is that soon, we will return to Tallahassee, or at least somewhere much closer than where we are now!  I miss everything about it, but especially all of YOU whom we love and miss so very much!!!

  1. I love this blog....Kyndall looks adorable in all of the pics. I love the way she is looking at Matthew when ya'll met up in Brunswick. I know you want to move home (or close to home) but God has a plan and I truly believe that you are where you need to be right now in regards to your health issues. When the timing is right, your prayers will be answered! We loved having ya'll and the house is dreadfully quiet....except for Albert barking at the painter and the phone ringing because a solicitor is calling!

    love,
    mom

  2. Dear AAK,

It is so fun to see you and Kelly all grown up, since I've known both of your since you were wee little tykes. Kyndall is a doll, and I hope you will be in Tallahassee at least one of the weekends we come up for FSU football.
It is fun to catch up with you on FB and in your blog.
    Love, Susan (Mrs. McNally)
