Our Weekend

Although I often complain about how boring it is living here in SC and how much I miss Tallahassee, it's always nice to have a weekend set aside for nothing but family time!  That's exactly what our weekend consisted of and it was so wonderful to just relax and spend time with each other.  We have a busy couple of months ahead of us, packed full of trips to Tallahassee and Thomasville literally every other weekend!  Before things get really hectic, we decided to just enjoy being the 3 of us.

We stayed home all day Saturday, with the exception of Matthew running out to pick up some take-out at Ruby Tuesday's for dinner.  I did some house work while Matthew played with Kyndall most of the day.  Once we got her settled for the night, we ordered a movie on the TV and then crashed for the night.

4/16/11---Hanging out at home (Notice her new favorite facial expression--tucking in her lower lip!)

This balloon that I bought her for Valentine's Day has been the best $1 I've ever spent!!  She STILL plays with it!

This morning we went to church and enjoyed a wonderful sermon about Passover Week and the events leading up to Jesus Christ's resurrection.  As many times as I've heard this story, it never gets old.  Easter is my favorite holiday for so many reasons!  Kyndall was such a sweet girl throughout the entire church service and even fell asleep in my arms which allowed me to (peacefully)  partake of the Lord's Supper.  After church it was out to lunch and then home for Kyndall's nap.  I left Kyndall with Matthew for a while so that I could continue my hunt for an Easter dress.  After more than 5 stores and MUCH frustration, I finally found one!  Ugh, I absolutely despise clothes shopping for myself!

Tonight we decided blow up Kyndall's pink duckie tub for the first time and let her splash around in it.  Now that she's sitting up better, we thought it would be something new and fun for her to try.  She loved it!!
