Happy Anniversary!

Three years ago yesterday, I had my very own fairytale wedding, as I married my own Prince Matthew!  It's hard to believe it's already been three years since that day---it seems like just yesterday!  The past three years have been wonderful, and I couldn't have asked for a better husband for myself and father for our children.  It's amazing what God can do when you put your life in HIS hands!  He made me kiss a few toads before I found my prince, but it was all worth it!  I know a lot of people say this, but Matthew truly is my very best friend.  He takes care of me in more ways than he probably ever bargained for and never complains.  I am so blessed that his heart's desire was the same as mine when it came to me staying home with Kyndall.  It is such a blessing for him to allow me to be a stay-at-home-mommy to our sweet girl.  I realize that this is a privilege, not a right.  He works so hard for us and I am so thankful for that.  Most of all, I am thankful that he has a love for the Lord and is the spiritual leader in our home, just like God commands husbands and fathers to be.  One of my favorite things that he does is pray for Kyndall each and every night.  He started doing this when I was pregnant with her and he plans to continue doing it forever.  That's just one of the many reasons I love him so much!

For the past three years, we have celebrated our anniversary with a week long cruise.  This tradition started with our honeymoon and we've done it each year since then.  Last year I was 16 weeks pregnant, but we still made it happen!  This year we have a 7 month old so it didn't happen.  =(  I'm definitely not complaining, because having Kyndall in our lives is much more wonderful than any cruise vacation could ever be.  Hopefully next year we ( I ) will be ready to leave Kyndall with the Grandparents so that we can get back to our tradition.  I just wasn't ready to do that this year!  So instead of a cruise, we settled for dinner at Yokoso with Kyndall and a few gifts for each other.

Our little dinner date

Leaving for Yokoso

In honor of our annual tradition, Kyndall wore this onesie yesterday.  We actually bought this on our cruise last year before we even knew whether she as a boy or a girl!

Side note:  We now have enough hair for a "real" bow!!

Matthew brought these pretty flowers home yesterday

Matthew is so proud of his anniversary gift.  Such a typical guy!

As for my anniversary gift, I got a new netbook laptop which I am typing on right now.  So Matthew got a gun and I got a computer.  Very romantic, huh?  =)

Any wedding anniversary is just not complete without looking through wedding photos.  Here are a few of my favorites from our special day...

And I just couldn't resist posting a few from our annual anniversary cruises, starting with our honeymoon....
