Family Fun

On Thursday afternoon, Matthew's parents came for a visit and stayed until today.  We always look forward to having company, so we were excited to have them for a few days!  I made dinner Thursday night and we had a nice family meal together.  After dinner we went for a walk through the neighborhood....

On Friday, Matthew had to work, so me and Kyndall and Nonie and Poppie took lunch up to his office and visited with him for a little while.  It was also Kyndall's 8 month birthday!

On Saturday we ventured into downtown Charleston for the afternoon.  We started at Waterfront Park, then had dinner at Fleet Landing.....

After dinner, we took Kyndall to her very first baseball game!  The Charleston River Dogs are a minor league team for the New York Yankees that play here in Charleston.  Matthew and I love going to the River Dogs games, so we were excited to see how Kyndall would like it.  She LOVED it!  All of the noise and music and people were so exciting to her.  She even got her first taste of mango flavored Italian Ice, which she also loved.

This morning we decided to skip church so that Nonie and Poppie could get a headstart on their long drive back to Thomasville.  So we had breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then said goodbye to them.  We were sad to see them go, but we'll be seeing them in two weeks when we're home again.
