Ridin' in Style!

Several months ago I bought this bike trailer for just 50 bucks on Craigslist. I wasn't sure if Kyndall would like it or not, but I figured for $50 it was worth a shot! Today we tried it out for the first time and she LOVED it! She's still a little bit small for it, but we strapped her in tight and went for a spin. Look how cute....

Ok, so the shoulder straps are more like face straps for her...but it works!

Kicked back and relaxing...

I couldn't resist trying it out with our 4-legged babies as well. One of them liked it and one didn't. So typical!

By far the best $50 I've spent in a while! Between this crazy looking thing and the new baby seat, I see lots of family bike rides in our future!!

ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!! that is soooooooooooo cute! She has got it 'made in the shade'....!!!! No excuse for not riding her around...except that it is 150 degrees outside..!! Cam looked right at home!! Huckabee...well...not so much so!!! Very cute!!

Matthew and I met on a blind date in the summer of 2006. By March of 2007 we were engaged and then married in April of 2008 in Tallahassee, FL. Shortly after, Matthew's job moved us to Charleston, South Carolina and on September 20th, 2010 we were blessed with our first child, Kyndall Anne Hughes. She is a true miracle and words cannot express the joy that she has brought into our lives! In January of 2013, Matthew's job moved us once again--This time to Jackson, TN. Much of our lives revolve around my health issues and we are no strangers to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville. I have a rare autoimmune disorder called PSC in which my own body attacks my liver and other healthy organs. The only cure is a liver transplant. Our lives were forever changed when I received my miracle on September 16, 2014. On this day I was given the gift of life as a precious donor's wish was fulfilled and therefore my life sustained. My life will never be the same and I am eternally grateful to this person, though I know nothing about them. I hope to someday have a face and a name to go along with my gift. In the meantime I will continue to be a strong advocate for organ donation, sharing my story with anyone who will listen. In August of 2016 my husband accepted a promotion to Dallas, Texas which is now where we reside. I am a dental hygienist by occupation, but I am blessed to be living my true lifelong dream of being a stay-home-Mom. I couldn't make it through my day without my camera, my chapstick, a cold Coke Icee and at least one phone call to my Mama. We enjoy the simple things in life: Family, friends, and our faith. We strive to live our lives in a way that is pleasing to God and we daily thank HIM for all we have been given! We hope that you enjoy reading about our simple everyday joys, our trials and our adventures as we share them periodically with you through this blog!
