*Next weekend we'll be traveling home for our annual Hart Family reunion in the big city of Two Egg, Florida. I look forward to this every year because it's the only time I get to see some of my distant cousins and their adorable kids. The reunion is held at my Grandparents' house, and this year they're doing a fish fry---my favorite! Last year I was about 20 weeks pregnant with Miss Kyndall. In fact, the day before the reunion was the day we found out we were having a GIRL! It was so much fun to have such big news to share with all of the family the next day! I can't wait for Kyndall to experience it for herself this year. Here are some pictures from last year's gathering....

*Matthew will celebrate his very first Father's Day in June! I'm looking forward to making this a special day for him, although I'm not exactly sure how yet! Better get working on that, huh?
*Next, I'm looking forward to 4th of July weekend. I love this holiday for so many reasons. Most importantly for what it means, but I also love all of the fun stuff that comes along with the day. Fireworks, cook-outs and ice cold watermelon are three of my favorite traditions. It looks like my family might be coming up to visit that weekend, so that makes it even more exciting. I'm so excited that I already bought Kyndall an adorable red, white and blue outfit to wear for the day. I won't show it just yet, but trust me when I say it's CUTE!
*It's hard to believe, but the weekend of July 16th we'll be traveling to Tallahassee for my 10 year class reunion. I really can't even begin to comprehend the fact that I graduated from Lincoln High School TEN years ago! I am SO excited to see everyone again and especially to see their spouses and kids! I've been a part of the planning committee for several months now, so I can't wait for it to all take place.
*The very next weekend I will be helping host a wedding shower for Lindsay Culpepper, who is marrying the son of one of my most favorite people in the whole world, Vickie Morrell. Lindsay is so sweet and I'm so excited to help give this shower for her. The shower will be at my Mom's house and it should be a good time for all!
*Just a few weeks later, on August 13th, we'll be going home AGAIN for Lindsay's wedding! I just love weddings, and I love them even more when it's someone I'm close to. Lindsay and Andrew are getting married at Morningside, which is the church I call "home" and the same church where Matthew and I were married. This will be Kyndall's very first wedding, and I'm sure she'll be taking notes! =)
*That same night, after the wedding is over and we've danced the night away, we'll be heading to Destin for our week long summer vacation! I absolutely cannot wait to spend a whole week at my favorite beach! Since we didn't take our annual cruise this year, this will be the next best thing. We'll be hanging out all week with Matthew's parents and my parents, and hopefully Kelly and Kenny for a few days as well. Here's where we'll be staying for the week....

*Hard to believe, but just a few weeks after we return from vacation, it will be time to celebrate Kyndall's FIRST BIRTHDAY!! What?!?! How can this be? On September 20th, she'll turn ONE! I haven't made any definite plans yet, but I assume since her birthday falls on a Tuesday, that we'll celebrate the weekend prior, on the 17th. We'll most likely have her party at my parents' house, but obviously I haven't gotten that far with the plans yet, as we still have plenty of time. Right now, I'm envisioning lots and lots of PINK and lots and lots of friends and family! =)
I guess that pretty much sums up our entire summer! I'm sure there will be other exciting things here and there, but those are the ones I know of for sure, and that I'm most looking forward to. We'll be burning up the roads between Charleston and Tallahassee it seems. Let's hope gas prices drop between now and then! Stay tuned for pictures of all these exciting events, because you know I'll have plenty to share! =)
How awesome to have fun things to look forward to! And I'm super jealous of a week in Destin--that place looks so nice! Hope I get to see you some (better yet, LOTS) this summer.
