I'm Still Here!!!

I have done a terrible job of updating my blog during our three weeks away from home.  My plan was to try and post every couple of days, but understandably, I would rather spend my time enjoying our friends and family than to be stuck behind a computer! =)  It wasn't until today that I realized it's been almost two weeks since my last post!  So much has happened since then!  Right now, we're in Destin enjoying the first day of our week-long beach vacation!  I finally got a few minutes to myself (everyone else is asleep!) so I decided to try and tackle the task of catching up on the blog.  I know if I don't do it now, it will just get harder and harder to catch up.  So, here goes....

On Thursday August 4th, Kyndall, myself and my Mother-in-law traveled to Gainesville for the night.  Kyndall's Great Great Grandmother on my MIL's side passed away earlier that week, so we packed up for one night and made a quick trip over to Gainesville, FL so that we could attend the visitation on Thursday night and the funeral on Friday morning.  It was Kyndall's first time staying in a hotel and also her first funeral.

Luckily, I was able to "hide" in the balcony with Kyndall during the funeral and therefore was able to keep her entertained with toys, snacks, and whatever else I could think of to avoid any noise from my little chatter box!!

I wanted to share these next few pictures because I thought they were too funny to leave out!  For some reason, Kyndall couldn't keep from crossing her eyes when I sat this sippy cup down in front of her!

That pretty much wraps up our week in Thomasville!  Up next, I will attempt to document our very BUSY week in Tallahassee!!!
