That night, we discovered Kyndall has a new trick, and it's one that she is VERY excited about....take a look!
Isn't that funny?? We've been trying to teach her to clap for a while now, and Wednesday night out of the blue she just started doing it on her own. My favorite part is how excited she gets! =)
On Thursday, Matthew, My Dad and Matthew's Dad played golf all day. So my Mom, myself, Kyndall and Matthew's Mom hung out by the pool and had a girls day. My Mom also took some family pictures of us late Thursday afternoon, but there are so many of those that I'll share them next, in a separate post!
On of my favorite things about the place we stayed was this ice cream truck that would come through the neighborhood once every couple of hours. Fun!!
That night, Kelly and Michael came down after work and stayed with us for the rest of our vacation. Kyndall LOVES Michael because he is so sweet to her!
After we got Kyndall down for the night, we left her with the Grandparents and myself, Matthew, Kelly and Michael headed down to the beach for some night fishing.
Friday we hit the beach and spent most of the day there.....
After dinner, my Mom and Dad treated ALL of us to go carts and mini golf and we had a blast!! Even Kyndall got in on the fun, and had her first train ride and her first carousel ride! Thanks, Grammy and GDaddy!!!!
We had a GREAT vacation and enjoyed lots of relaxation and quality time with both of our families. I'm already looking forward to next year and I'm hoping that this will become a yearly tradition for our family! Thank you again to our sweet friends Marsha and Greg Wise for allowing us to stay in your GORGEOUS beach house!!!!
Now, back to the real world......ugggggh.

Aunt Kelly thought that spinning Kyndall on the lazy susan was a fun trick....
And Poppie thought that giving Kyndall Ben and Jerry's ice cream was a fun trick.....
Friday night, we went to dinner at AJ's, which is a really neat restaurant that's right on the water and has live music and a very fun atmosphere.....

Sadly, Saturday was our last day at the beach. However, Michael made it a little better by cooking home-made blueberry and banana pancakes for breakfast!! Yummy!!
We may be smiling in the picture below, but really we were crying on the inside. We did NOT want to leave!! =(

I am so happy that we all had some time to relax. It was so nice to be able to get to know you and Mathew better. You bother are amazing and loving people. Thank you both (and little miss) for welcoming me with open arms. See you all in a week and a half.
ReplyDeleteI think the post above is from Michael....not sure but must be!

I love it! AA, I especially love the serious look on your face when you are about to go-kart. Kyndall looks like she had such a great time and I am so happy that both sets of parents get along so well! It is great to see your family and Matthew's family all getting together and spending quality time together. Cherish it!
