West Farm Corn Maze 2012

This morning Kyndall and I joined our Moms group for a trip to the local pumpkin patch and corn maze.  This was the very first event we attended last year with our Moms group, so I was looking forward to going back this year, now that Kyndall is walking and MUCH more active.  They have so many fun things for the kids to do, but my personal favorite is this corn sandbox.  SO much less messy than sand, and y'all know I'm all about keeping my kid clean whenever possible!  =)

Last year she was just a baby!!  I can't believe how much she's changed!

Next, it was off to the sand mountain where we met up with our friends

Kyndall was very unsure about climbing up, but McKinley and Abby were so sweet to encourage her!

And she wasn't letting go of Abby for ANYTHING!

Still climbing and still keeping a death grip on poor Abby's arm!

They made it to the top!  About 2 seconds after this (blurry) picture was taken, she got scared and started crying.  So much for that adventure!

Nothing a little snack break couldn't fix......

Another flashback from last year........

Even though we had just spent time in the corn sandbox, Kyndall wanted to follow her buddies back over for some more fun..........

There is so much to do at West Farm.......

Kyndall had a grand ole time in the hay bail maze!  She wasn't even walking last year, so this was her first time trying it out!

By far, Kyndall's favorite part of the entire day was the petting zoo!  I've never seen a child get so excited over a couple of stinky goats!  I think we may have a future veterinarian on our hands!  She was GIDDY!!

I wish this picture was more clear so you could appreciate what was happening!  I can't even look at it without laughing!  Kyndall was happily petting this goat when all of the sudden he stood up on the gate unexpectedly.  She truly thought he was coming after her!  Her reaction was hilarious to me!

She saw these same goats last year, but poor girl was confined to the wagon since she wasn't walking yet.  I think getting up close and personal with them this year was much more exciting for her!

It took a lot of work, but I finally tore her away from the goats and over to the pumpkin patch

Picking out the perfect pumpkin

Got it!!

My little photo shoot didn't start off so well, but the promise of "more goats" got me EXACTLY the smiles I was hoping for!!

Much better!!  Thank goodness for goats!

Favorite!!!

Last year........

I always hold true to my promises, so back to the goats we went.  I think she would've climbed into that pen with them if I'd have let her!!

A few pictures with her pumpkin when we got back home.....

It was such a pretty day that we spent some extra time outside before her nap

It was a fun day and it really got me in the mood for FALL!  I can't wait for Trick-Or-Treating, cooler weather, the Fair and all of the other wonderful things that come along with this time of year!  Happy Fall y'all!!!
