Happy Birthday Baby Owen!

Some of you may remember a few months back when I posted baby Owen's story HERE.  Then, just a few days later, Owen went to be with Jesus and I posted it HERE.  Yesterday would have been sweet baby Owen's very first birthday.  I wanted to share the blog entry that his Mommy posted yesterday in honor of his special day.  With Kyndall's own first birthday party coming up this Saturday, I have been extremely busy making sure every last detail is just perfect.  With all of the planning and running around, I haven't really stopped and taken the time to just be thankful.  There are so many things to be thankful for.......Thankful that despite all of my health problems, I was able to become a Mommy.  Thankful that SHE is healthy.  Thankful that she is happy.  Thankful that I get to wake up to her sweet face every single morning.  Thankful for ten tiny fingers that love to touch my face as she falls asleep in my arms.  Thankful for her sweet giggles. Thankful for the messy diapers.  Thankful for the drool.  Thankful for the temper tantrums and meltdowns.  Thankful for the little things.  Thankful for EVERYTHING.  Reading Jerica's post yesterday really put things into perspective for me.  Take a look for yourself HERE, and let it be a lesson in perspective for you as well.
