Thanksgiving 2012

Like every other year for as long as I've been alive, we spent Thanksgiving Day at my Grandparents' house in Two Egg, FL.  There were about 25 of us in all, and there was plenty of food, fun and good memories to go around!  I love, love, love Thanksgiving and the tradition that we've always had of sharing this special meal at my Grandparents' house.  I'm even happier now that Kyndall can be a part of one of my most favorite family get-togethers of the entire year.

Kyndall made a bee line to the swing set as soon as we stepped out of the car

Garrison soon followed..............

Bryce and Jeffrey---Best buds!

My Aunt's new German Shepherd puppy---So cute!!

She was all about the swing set, until she spotted her beloved G-Daddy!!

Let's EAT!

We were happy to have Micheal's parents as well as Matthew's parents join us this year.  I love the surprised look on Michael's mom's face!  When I'm around, you better be camera-ready at all times!  =)

By next Thanksgiving, these two will have been married 6 months!

Nice...........

We were attempting to take Christmas card pictures of Kelly and Michael, when this little photo crasher decided to join the party!  Any other time it would be an all out battle to get her to cooperate for pictures.  When she's not supposed to be in the picture, that's when she decides to pose for me!

Too bad these two are cousins!  Wouldn't they make the cutest toddler couple? =)

See what I mean?  (Ok, so this picture may or may not have been posed!)

She pays no attention to our dogs (who are about this same size), yet she couldn't get enough of this one!

MeMe, on her 92nd Thanksgiving!!

Matthew has learned to be camera-ready at all times.  Granddaddy has not.

Michael and his Dad.  Michael: Not camera-ready

Kyndall's second favorite thing to do at Grandma and Granddaddy's is ride the golf cart

Back in her happy place

Love my cousins!!  I may be the oldest, but I'm also the shortest!  Sad but true.

Kyndall went the whole day with no nap and was still going strong later that night!  Garrison, on the other hand, needed his sleep!!

Not a posed picture.  So cute!

"Wake up, Garrison!  You're missing all the fun!"

Carrie is fun!

By this point, I think the lack of sleep was catching up with her and she was becoming delirious!

Kyndall has never been one of those babies/kids who could sleep anywhere or on anyone.  I wish she was, but she's just not.  So Matthew didn't mind when Garrison decided to crawl up on him and finish snoozing.

As with every other Thanksgiving, it was a great day!  I always love spending time with my family, but something about the holidays seems extra special!

I hope you and your family had a wonderful thanksgiving as well.  In my next post, you'll see how we spent "Black Friday" and the rest of our Thanksgiving vacation.
